New activities for the dark winter days!

We have a number of new activities that we hope will be great fun!

DANCE - For those who love dance there is now a monthly session which will be held on Friday 21st February and Friday 14th March at 7:30 to 9 pm. We have an experienced and friendly tutor.  The cost is £4 per session, and there's no need to book.

SINGING FOR FUN - For total beginners or those with some knowledge. This 3 week activity starts Monday 24 February 1pm-3pm and runs for 3 weeks. The fee is £15.
Come and practise your existing singing skills and learn new ones in the relaxed, friendly sessions led by Richmond Adult Community College's experienced singing tutor, Deidre O’Kelly.   Songs will include many old favourites as well as some more modern ones
Booking is essential for this class.   For more information call us on 020 8948-3351.

HISTORY GROUP -  The group's February meeting consisted of an excellent talk on architect CFA Voysey from a local resident.  The History Group's next meeting is 11th March. Momentum is gathering on plans for an autumn exhibition marking the Cambrian Centre’s 25th birthday. If you are interested in joining or would like to know more, view our History Group page on the web site.

Tai Chi: We now offer Tai Chi on Wednesday afternoon.

Contact us at manager@cambriancentre.org for more information on these activities.

Centre refurbishment: We would welcome suggestions from our users as we plan the refurbishment of the kitchen and toilets. These improvements are made possible thanks to a generous grant of £10,000 from Richmond Parish Lands Charity (RPLC). Our grateful thanks go to RPLC for their continued support.

Volunteering opportunities:  We continue to need help. The centre would welcome additional volunteers, especially from those with IT and general “DIY” skills.  More information is on our web site here.
