New Year Resolutions at the Cambrian Community Gym

We are delighted to say that our Gym usage appears significantly up in recent months. However, there's still plenty of opportunity for more members to join and if you are looking for somewhere to work off the seasonal excesses you would be most welcome! Full details of our friendly community gym are on our website at http://cambriancentre.org/gym.htm including opening hours.

The Christmas Event - thanks to all who contributed

Picture of SumiThe December Christmas event was great fun and went well. We would like to thank all of those who contributed and especially those local businesses and others who contributed prizes for the raffle and tombola. In particular we would like to mention: Pools on the Park, The Marlborough Pub, Grants Whisky, Roebuck Pub, The Lass of Richmond Pub, Skin Lounge, Spirited wines, Richmond hill Bakery, A Cena Deli and the Village Butcher, Mace Convenience Store and the Vet on Richmond Hill.

The poster competition was won by Sumi from Camkids who is pictured.

Volunteer needed for Pitch Rota

The gate to our sports pitch needs to be opened and closed at agreed times. We would like to start a rota for this task but need more volunteers. Please call the manager if you live local to the Cambrian Community and would be able to help.

Facebook page - can anyone help?

The Centre would like to have its own facebook page to try to use the power of social media to reach people who communicate this way. Is there a volunteer out there that has a reasonable level of experience with FaceBook and who would be willing to assist set up and then maintain a Facebook page?

If you want to contact the team at the Cambrian Community Centre please phone on 020 8948 3351, or email to manager@cambriancentre.org

As always, thank you for your support,

Mary McDonald,
Manager, Cambrian Community Centre.
