Cambrian Centre Refurbishement News.

To all users of the Cambrian Community Centre and Gym 27 March 2026

I write to advise you of building work due to begin at the Cambrian Community Centre later in the year which is expected to last about five months.

We are fortunate to have received generous funding from Richmond Foundation and Richmond Council to refurbish and extend our facilities. These improvements will greatly enhance the attractiveness of the Centre and enable us to expand our leisure, fitness and cultural activities for residents across our local community.

Many of our activities will be dispersed to nearby locations for the duration of the work. We are working hard to secure alternative venues for our gym activities and regular classes to maintain continuity where possible. We hope to confirm details of availability in good time before the works begin. Some activities may be suspended until the refurbishment is completed.

The coming period will be a challenge for all of us. But we look forward to relaunching a rejuvenated Centre that will offer more space, full accessibility and a wider range of activities. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns. We will keep you updated and thank you for your continuing support.
