Seasons Greetings!

Dear friends and supporters,

As our 25th year serving the community comes to a close, we would like to wish all our users and supporters a very happy Christmas and New Year, and to thank you all for your support. We hope to see you at the Centre in 2015.

Gym Closure over Christmas/New Year: The Gym will be closed on 24th to 27th December (inclusive) and on 1st January (New Year's Day). Otherwise normal opening hours apply.

SAVE THE DATE!  Saturday 14th March - Supper Quiz at the Cambrian Community Centre.  Everybody will be welcome. Come and join a table or bring your friends. Further details to follow early in 2015

Last minute gift ideas:  For your family or friends, how about a gift voucher for the gym or to join one of the activities in the centre?  For example for the Drawing group, the Singing Group or Line Dancing.  Contact us, or if you are short of time, you can use your own home-made voucher. Then talk to us in the New Year on how the recipient can access the gym or chosen activity.

Help needed with a computer?  Do you know someone who needs help with a computer or tablet?  On wednesday mornings we are running drop-in sessions from 10:30 to 12:30. These sessions aim to help relatively new users do such things as set up their email, use a search engine, or even renew their Freedom Pass online.  Contact the centre for more details and for the date of the first session in January.

2014 AGM: Our AGM was held on 26th November and was well attended - our thanks to all those who came. We presented our annual report and the audited accounts for both 2012/2012 and 2013/2014 and reported on the past year. If you would like a printed copy of the handout, please ask the manager.

Volunteering opportunities:  We continue to need help. The centre would welcome additional volunteers, especially from those with IT and general “DIY” skills.  More information is on our web site here.
