Dear supporter,

Hopefully you have all had a good summer and managed to make the most of the lovely sunshine.

Here at the Cambrian Community Centre we are starting the autumn term and many of our activities are returning after the summer break.

  • Singing for Fun is  back on Monday afternoon 12.45pm-2.45pm
  • Yoga returns on Tuesday -11.30am-12.30pm
  • Drawing Group runs on Friday  morning 10am-12pm
  • Creative Writing Group returns on Tuesday 16th October 2pm-4pm – the group will then meet at the same time on the first Tuesday of the month (6th November and  4th December)

Further details of these activities are included on our website or please contact the office on 020 8948 3351. Our website also gives details of the various sessions delivered by those who hire the Centre.

At present the Cambrian Centre has some spaces in the timetable and we are busy planning some new activities as suggested by local residents these include table tennis, Scrabble +other board games,  sing-a-long sessions, keep-fit and ukulele - further details will be available once the new sessions are confirmed. If there is an activity you would like us to consider running please let us know on the contact details shown below.

The gym has just taken delivery of a new rower and this is proving very popular with our regular gym users. If you are interested in talking with our gym team on how they could support you in keeping fit then please feel free to call into the gym during opening hours 9am-3pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 1pm on Saturday

The Cambrian Centre is very proud of a new film that has been made about the gym and the activities delivered at the Centre.  The film is very effective at highlighting the benefits of the Centre .We are very grateful to the trustees led by Caroline Storey who worked on the development of the film with another local charity- My Life Films. Many thanks to Rosie Dalzell and the Friends who held another successful Quiz Evening earlier this year, the proceeds of which helped towards the cost of the film. Thank you also to all who supported this fundraising event.

The film can be viewed using the link below and is also on the first page of our website. Please share with your neighbours and friends
