Yay!!!!! We made it! Becky our wonderful gym instr Yay!!!!! We made it! Becky our wonderful gym instructor made sure our combined distance was a total 346km 🎉 A huge thank you to all the staff and gym users who participated and got us over the finish line!!!
It is nearly here!! Our sponsored event is happen It is nearly here!! Our sponsored event is happening on SATURDAY 11th OCTOBER! There is still time to participate or to sponsor/donate to this worthy cause as we are raising funds to supply the gym with a dedicated medical grade chair for use with our MOTOMed Muvi (which supports people with neurological conditions with power assisted exercise options) and a new upright bike. If you are unable to participate or pop down to the gym in person to donate/sponsor you can use the QR code which will enable you to send funds remotely. The Youth Enquiry Service Mobile Bus is visiting t The Youth Enquiry Service Mobile Bus is visiting the Cambrian Community Centre On Wednesday 29th October from 11:30am-2:30pm the bus will be parked outside the Cambrian Community Centre. Staff will be on hand to offer information, advice , guidance and sigh-posting on a range of issues relating to young people. The bus facilities includes: * TV (with DVD and laptop connectivity) * Laptop with internet access *Bluetooth speaker and radio * Experiences staff * Board Games * Computer console * CCard Service (including chlamydia screening) * Smoking and alcohol awareness * Tea Urn * The opportunity to plan activities The Real Junk Food Project is also providing a hot lunch within the Cambrian Community Centre on the day from 11:30am-1:30pm on a pay as you feel basis for a 3 course meal. There will also be a surplus food table throughout the day. If you have a young person who is in need of help, support and guidance or you would like to know about the youth services that are available in the local area this is a great service to make contact with. We know we had a good time, but thank you for taki We know we had a good time, but thank you for taking part in this years Your Community Centre Week! 150 people participated in the Vintage Bus Tour and Cream Teas this year, and a big shout out goes to Linden Hall, Mortlake Community Association and Mortlake Hall for hosting this years cream teas. As always, thank you to all 10 community centres for pulling together and organising the week, to Richmond Upon Thames Council for supporting us all, the Civic Pride fund for helping cover the cost of the guides and cream teas, the bus drivers, the comms team who provided the commentary, all the volunteers and everyone else who helped out!
